How to clean your Mother Board
by: Ray Geide
If you have not done the inspection mentioned in the previous article - How to Clean your Case, now is the time to do so. Look at the blades of the fan in the back of the computer. Also look at any vents. Is there clusters of dust there? Is there grime caked on to it? If so, the inside needs to be cleaned. If the fan blades are clean but it has been several years since you have cleaned the motherboard or if the computer is around cigarette smoke, it probably should be cleaned anyway. Dust and particles in the air (like cigarette smoke) can build up on the circuitry of the motherboard and cause it to heat up and/or corrode.
The first thing that you need to do is unplug your computer. Then open up the case to get access to the motherboard. Cases open differently. If you don't know how to open your case, look on the back of your computer along the edge for some screws. These screws may hold on side panels or an upside down U shaped panel that covers the sides and top. Removing the screws will allow you to take off the cover. Other cases have the screws on the front of the computer. To get access to these screws, you must first remove the front panel by pressing a hidden latch. The cover is there to give easy access to the inside of your computer, so if you look hard enough, you should be able to figure out how to remove it.
Remember that if you touch anything on the motherboard, you should be grounded by either touching the metal frame of the computer with your other hand or by wearing a special grounding device.
The goal of cleaning the motherboard is to remove all dust and debris from the motherboard and all components inside of the case. This can be done using one of three methods.
The preferred method is to use a can of compressed air to blow it out. Always hold the can in an up-right position to prevent the propellent chemicals which can damage or corrode components from coming out. Dust and dirt should be blown away from the motherboard and out of the case.
Another way to remove dust is to use a vacuum. The common advice is to only use a battery operated vacuum because an AC powered vacuum causes static and static can ruin the motherboard. I have used an AC powered vacuum (before I knew that it was not recommended) to clean my motherboard many times and it has never caused any problems, but I may have just been lucky. When using the vacuum, keep the nozzle a couple of inches away from the motherboard or any other components so that it does not come in contact with them and so that any small parts are not sucked into the vacuum.
If you do not have a can of compressed air or a vacuum, you can use a dry cloth and brush to clean the motherboard. Be careful not to dislodge or break anything using this method.
While cleaning the motherboard, be careful not to unplug any cables or connections or to dislodge any loose components, such as, jumpers.
Methodically clean the whole inside of the case going over all of the motherboard from one end to the other and all other components. Don't forget to clean the fans and heat sinks. Do not open up the power supply box or stick anything in it beyond the fan. If you do, you could get a shocking surprise and ruin your computer.
If your computer does not work when you put it back together, something was obviously dislodged during the cleaning. Open the case back up and push all connections and cards into their slots. Look for anything that may have become disconnected.
Cleaning the motherboard is probably the most dangerous form of cleaning but it is necessary to prevent an early death of your computer.

How To clean your Case
by: Ray Geide
There is nothing wrong with leaving spills, dirt, and stains on your computer case. After all isn't that what the case is for, to protect the electronic components inside from spills and dirt? This is true, but there are still parts of the case that need to be cleaned and checked if you want your computer to live a long and prosperous life.
Unless you like looking at dirt everytime you look at your computer, you should go ahead and clean those spills, stains, and dust off of the case. You can do this with just about any cloth and cleaner. Do not use highly abrasive cleaners that might ruin or mar the surface and do not use solvents on plastic. A wet sponge will even work. Just make sure that the cleaner or any liquid does not seep into the inside through cracks and vents. If there is any possibility that you are going to get that messy, turn off and unplug the computer first and wait to turn it back on until any liquid has had a chance to fully dry.
After you have wiped off the outside, it is time for a little inspection. Look at the blades of the fan in the back of the computer. Also look at any vents. Is there dust there? Is there a lot of dust and grime caked on to it? If so, that is an indicator that the inside also needs to be cleaned (I will tell you how to do that in next week's article - How to Clean your Motherboard).
Some clean environments never have to have the inside cleaned. Some need it cleaned monthly. When I lived in Russia, even though I didn't notice it, the air was not clean. The fan on the computer would cake up with dirt and grime after about a month of use. And so I would have to clean the fan, vents, and inside monthly. If I had let it go for several months without cleaning, the fan would have stopped working and the computer would have overheated. Where I now live in the US, the air is clean and I have gone years without having to clean it. Again, the indicator of this is the blades of the fan and the vents. If they are dirty, they need to be cleaned.
You can do some of the cleaning from the outside. First, turn off the computer. Then get out the vacuum sweeper and using the hose, vacuum out the vents and the fan(s). If you have compressed air (you can purchase compressed air from your computer store), you may want to blow air in through the vents (or intake fan if you have one) to loosen the dust and suck it out using the vacuum. If there is still dust or dirt in the vents or on the blades of the fan, you can use a Q-tip to clean them.
If you do not have a vaccum, you can use compressed air alone. Always use short bursts to avoid moisture buildup. Start with the computer off and blow into every hole and vent. Then turn the computer on and blow everything except for the exhaust fan once again.
With the case clean, your computer will look nicer and with the fan and vents cleaned out it will breathe easier and run cooler.

Biometric Time Clocks
by: Elaine Ester
In the fast-paced business environment where competition is stiff, companies need to protect themselves from espionage and piracy. Security begins with limiting access to company grounds and offices. Payment from SponsoredReviews
After joining SponsoredReviews for almost three months and put many bids I have finally got a job from them. But what really surprised me is the payment is really quick. I have just completed the review two days ago and the I received the payment this morning. So it took only a day for the review to be approved not like any other brokers which could take days in approving a review.
In case you didn't know payment from SponsoredReviews is paid on a two week basis. Fortunately yesterday when I completed the job was the last day before payment. That is why I received the payment really quick. From now on I will try to put many bids and complete all the jobs in time. Once again I have proven that this broker is not a bogus.

Who Uses An RSS Feed?
by: Scott Lindsay
Who uses a Real Simple Syndication (RSS) feed? Maybe the better question is how many are not using RSS feeds? Before we go any further let’s talk just briefly about what RSS is and why it’s important. Real Simple Syndication is a process that allows individuals to subscribe to content distribution. This is not like subscribing to email marketing or an ezine. This content is custom fed to your reader and viewable when you choose to listen, watch or read the content. That’s right, the content captured by a RSS reader is not confined to text information.
Say for instance you have a podcast you like to listen to; an RSS reader can capture the podcast and download it for quick listening when you’re ready.
OK, now that we’re past the primer, let’s get back to the subject at hand.
Who uses an RSS feed?
Your average information consumer thrives on RSS information, but there may be an even more interested group of users.
Many business bloggers have very specific RSS subscriptions. If a business blog is dependent on information about a very specific trade or business discipline they can, in turn, provide their readers with some of the most up to date information available.
Their RSS reader scours the Internet looking for the specific information the business owner requests. The information received through an RSS feeder can help the business bloggers establish themselves as trusted resources for quality information.
The truth is there is a two-step marketing plan that is happening when a business blogger uses an RSS feed to find information they can use. The first step is for the original writer of the article or the producer of the audio or visual content. The RSS feed is helping them reach a very specific segment of the online population that is motivated by the material they present. The second form of marketing is when the business blogger redistributes the information. It is marketing for both the business blogger as well as the individual or organization that supplied the original story.
If you are looking for fresh content for your blog or even your website you can utilize RSS through a free article directory that can allow you quick access to the latest content from a specific writer or on a specific topic.
The growth of RSS is incredible. You might even liken the service to something like a newspaper being delivered to your reader that only feature topics you’re interested in.
This can be a great resource for business as well as an incredible time saver as you can bypass multiple online searches for the same information that can be direct delivered to your RSS reader.
The work of online business is already hard enough. That’s why using an RSS reader is a component that can enable you to have more available time to work on other marketing chores and business development.
In an online world that recognizes the power in knowledge-based content RSS has become a goldmine for those interested in passing the wealth along to their customers.

Read Other Blogs To Improve Your Blog
by: Craig Andrews
Bloggers, both old and new, are always looking for ways to continually improve their blogs. One of the simplest ways to improve your blog is to read other blogs.
How is reading other peoples blogs going to help you improve your blog? Just read this article and I will explain how this will happen.
Reading other peoples blogs will help you by giving you ideas to use on your own blog. I am not endorsing you go and steal content from somebody's blog, no not at all. What I am suggesting is to look and see what they do to make their blog so popular.
For instance, preceding every post they place a blurb for readers to sign up for their RSS feed. Wow! what a brilliant idea you think to yourself and then you incorporate that to your blog. That is an example of how to improve your your blog by reading another blog.
Reading other blogs will also give you ideas to write about or give you insight to a trend that is developing in your niche. You can also find ways to make your blog look better, like a combination of colors that make the page easier to look at or a type font that is easy to read. It will also make you want to be like them, successful!
Now, don't just read all of the good blogs. Take time to read some of the bad blogs too. What this will do is instill in you the importance of doing things correctly. A big no-no bloggers do is forget to spell check in their rush to get the post out. This, along with other mistakes(you will know when you see them), will become self evident when you read some bad blogs and they will guide you to be perfect.
I hope that this article has shown you the importance of learning and reading other blogs, both good and bad. So set aside twenty to thirty minutes a day to do this and soon you will be improving your own blog and setting the standard for others.

With back-end optimization, we study your websites structure, navigation links, external links, sitemap and other SEO elements to detect if they in any way prevent search engines from crawling and indexing your website. In effect, we ready your websites back-end for search engines to spider, index and include in their database. We believe that good content attracts user attention, interesting external website links and referrals. Hence, for the front-end optimization, we suggest content revisions, rewrite content if necessary as well as create relevant content to support your targeted keywords.
Once we've optimized your website, we manually submit it to the various search engines and directories, closely monitoring its inclusion in search engines. YELLOW7.COM develops search engine optimization strategies that advance your page ranks and link popularity.

Reverse Mortgages
If you are a home owner and you are at the age of 62 or older you can apply for a reverse mortgage loan. What is a reverse mortgage loan? A reverse mortgage loan is a type of loan which enable you to receive payment in exchange of your home's equity. This type of loan requires no income qualifying and term of conditions are very easy. If you happen to live around California then you can apply for California reverse mortgages through AmeriTek Mortgage Inc.
You might be wondering how much money you would get by using this type of loan. Basically the amount of money you receive is based on three factors which are your age, the interest rate and the value of your home, last is the amount of loan you owe left if you have any. Usually people who apply for reserve mortgage loan use the amount of money the get to pay off their existing loan. Now there are four types of payment plans that you can choose. If you want to receive a monthly check then you should choose tenure. If you prefer a line of credit then you can draw it anytime up to the maximum amount given. Lump Sum Cash Advance will give you an amount of cash at closing. You can choose Modified Tenure if you want to have a combination of those three plans.
Now you can choose to live in the house for as long as you like. You can even leave it to your heirs if you want to. Please not that this loan will not due until you leave your home. So as long as you are still living there you can have a source of income. But remember you can not lose your home at any time regardless how much equity is left. Judging by the term and advantages you get this type of loan is really lenient. Anyone who is on his or her old age should consider this reverse mortgage loan. If you ever needed ca reverse mortgages then AmeriTek is the name that you can trust.

Connecting Blogging And Marketing
by: Jon Caldwell
Everyone into the Internet business today that includes blogging and article content management are sure to know that search engine optimization (SEO) is one part for consideration when it comes to composing and using keywords proficiently. While some have been doing the necessary research surrounding SEO, others have simplified it too much that it is not really categorized under this area.
Keyword repetition is useless unless they are constructed in a way in posts to make sense. The best thing to generalize all of these is “How can you expect people to rely on your work if they do not understand what they are reading?” Such is a practice that is still being done at present. People think that the more times a keyword is used in an entry, the better it is for them.
For programs and scripts, it may be possible. But the human factor will always be the varying aspect that will make the difference. Reader count and site visits are important as well. Putting value in your blog or content is still important and this can never be taken for granted.
So the next time you make a blog or article, be wiser. Quality is still the unforeseen factor in most of your work. Do not degrade yourself for the sake of ongoing SEO trends. Just understand the whole methodology and you can find yourself on course towards efficient blogging and content management with SEO as your reward.
The gift of blogging to the masses of people who patronize the Internet is the ability of being to voice out accomplishments, frustrations and unique ideas coming from experience and personal beliefs. All people in the world will always have something to share that will be of interest. It all depends on how they put it into writing and good composition for others to read.
Blogging is not really too technical to learn and do. All it needs is the gathering of ideas and compose it in a way to which people can understand the obvious gist that people are trying to bring across. It all boils down to the quality content contained in blogs. This is something that can either be informative or used as daily thought to which is important for people to rely on.
Blogging should not be limited to what people want to read today. Many have used blogging as a form of marketing tool to help spread the word on particular words and topics. While this practice is a breakthrough for business minded individuals, they should also take into account that the entry should make sense. This is the best way to create blog entries considering that content is still the main point for their compositions.
Depending on the purpose, blogging should be left with a free-hand when composing them. The essence and the meaningful substance of such blogs can only be brought out if a person or a blogger would have no restrictions present in being able to put into writing the wandering ideas on his mind. A lot of people would be surprised at such entries, unique and providing deeper meaning if they are allowed to blog as they wish.

What Happened to My Cable?
I just notice that my tv cable is not working. I can not watch anything whereas there is a big match today, Manchester United versus Arsenal from the Emirates Stadium. Why does it has to happen today? Why not tomorrow when the match is over or yesterday or the day before yesterday so the problem will be solved by today.
As you know that Premier League is only broadcast by a company (I don't want to mention names here but I am sure you know who am I talking about). So as an entertainment for my internet cafe, we installed the cable and hoped that our customers will enjoy their stay there. Football is really Indonesia's number one sport and Premier League has many fans here. But today we couldn't watch a big match that could be the decider for this year's title race. Sadly we could not witness it as the government blocked the frequency because the tv cable provider has not done his duty. One of the reason is that they have not paid the lease of the frequency they are using to broadcast. So until they have done their obligation the frequency will remain blocked.
It is really annoying that a big company like that could be very careless of doing their duty. As a customer I am really disappointed because I have paid my rent and hoped that I could watch what I have paid for. I tried to call the customer service but it always has a busy dial tone. Is it really busy or the phone is disconnected? I don't know, all I know is that I will miss a very good game of football just because a small problem. And the most annoying thing is that this is not because of me but it is something that I have no power to control.

How Necessary Is a Website?
A website, interchangeably referred to as “online business card” or “web address”, has tremendous potential in getting your message and idea across global communities, which other promotional media may be found wanting. Today, it has catapulted marketing into the realm of content, audio and video plus person to person interaction carried over chat rooms still made possible by an accessible online address, transcending time and space. With no territorial boundaries, having a website is an indispensable tool for an entrepreneur who wishes to bring his products or service to global attention.
Products and services are sold by the minute online; shopping carts have never ceased raking in dollars, round the clock, for the website that hosts them. A businessman who wants to thrive in the 21st century and beyond needs to embrace the call of the times: acquire and manage a company website or be left behind.
With a website, even while you sleep, your business is on its feet, holding its own against competition. Through online strategies, such as search engine optimization and internet marketing, your business is always at the threshold of converting every search query, into a possible conversion, long after the regular sales agent in a traditional business has gone home. Such is the 24/7 power of a website to welcome traffic and create sales for your business, even when you are not watching.
A business that has no website will eventually fade into oblivion; it simply cannot outlast competition. Large or small business has lost its size definition when competition is brought in the forefront of the worldwide web. Businesses, which have the winning edge, are those with online presence, no matter how sparse is the number of people that run them. It’s not about size, it’s about visibility.
It is online where most people, nowadays conduct their search for information that leads them to your door. Without a website, where would your potential customer go to find you? Only your next door neighbor will not bother to sit in front of the PC to place order for your shoe; the rest will seek out the same pair of shoes among online stores that offer not just convenience but a plethora of choices, which a customer can feast his eyes on, minus the perspiration.
To compete globally, you have to take up the challenge of being seen, read and heard on the web. Nothing can bring your business more effectively to your online audience than that piece of space on your website; you appropriately call “Home”.

Youtube Blocked
Indonesian government has officially blocked any access to Youtube. An official statement has also been released by the Information and Telecommunication Department to all Internet Service Providers in Indonesia to block any traffic to the site. In case you you didn't know it yet, the blocking of Youtube is a form of protest as the site hosted the controversial film "Fitna". It has offended moslems all over the world. That is why Indonesia as one of the largest population of moslems in the world took this decision.
Along with Youtube there are also several sites that have received the same treatment. Those sites includes Multiply, MySpace, Rapidshare and Metacafe. The latest news is that the blocking is only for specific urls. These are those urls:
1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LyeviTOh2w

Time Warner Cable
I have always dreamt of having a cable tv because I feel that the programs on the usual tv channel are far from satisfying. But I also have difficulties in choosing the best tv cable provider. There are many advantages that you could gain installing tv cable. You can also gain access to high speed internet. What provider should you choose? The answer is simple, Time Warner Digital Cable.
There are three main reasons why you should choose this provider. First, you can get more than 200 channels for your pleasure. I think that it is more than enough. The channels provided includes top rated channel such as ESPN, Discovery Channel, ShowTime, HBO, Cinemax and many more. You can have these channels very cheap, as low as $39.99 per month. You can get the clearest picture using Time Warner HDTV with an HD receiver. Second, you can get cheap high speed internet access. If you want you can choose packages which offered by the company to get these two products. If you choose Time Warner DSL individually it will cost you from $19.99 per month depending on the package you choose. Third, to add up to those two products you could also get digital phone access for only $29.99 per month. You can get free calls in the U.S, Canada and Puerto Rico. To use some popular calling features such as caller id, call waiting, etc you only need to add some addition amount which is very low.
The best thing is you can get all three products for only $99.99 per month. It is really a cheap price to pay considering the services you will get. So go to the site right now, don't wait any longer and order your products directly on the site.

Five Kinds of Successful Online Businesses
by: Scott Oliver
If you're seriously considering starting an online business, it makes sense that you would want to choose something that's going to do well right from the start. When you're investing time and money in your business, it would help to know if you're setting yourself up for failure or for success. Here are five different kinds of online businesses that have proven to be a hit with customers. Perhaps you can find your perfect business idea here too.
Health and Weight Loss
Everyone either wants to lose weight or wants to improve their health. We're a society that wants to take care of our bodies and if we look good at the same time, that's all the better. If you want to start an online business, you might want to focus on ways to help people lose weight or simply to improve their health. You can do this by offering fitness and health related products on your website or perhaps by offering eBooks that will help them make better health decisions. Try to find something that relates to a question or a concern a person has about their health - and then you have a viable and profitable business plan.
Beauty
While it used to be that beauty was something that only women talked about, that certainly isn't the case any longer. That said, women are still the consumer group that is much more likely to invest in makeup and skin care products, though men too are looking to improve their appearance. With anti aging face products, both genders can begin to reclaim their youthful appearance, which will help them feel more confident in any setting. Selling high quality makeup products and helping customers with their choices is a great business plan, as it allows customers to have the department store experience from the comfort of their home.
Exercise and Sports
But weight loss isn't the only concern with it comes to health for customers. Exercise and sports are other areas where you can make a profit with your online business. For example, selling sporting equipment or products related to sports fans is still a big business. When you work with the team and their product line, you will be able to access thousands of fans who want to support their team with licensed products.
Fashion
Of course, fashion is still a hot seller, no matter where you are. If you can present high quality fashions on your website, you will attract not only the teenaged sector, but also those in their twenties and thirties - of both genders. Look to celebrity and gossip magazines to show you what's hot and what's not and then look for a vendor that sells the same or similar items that you can them turn around to sell for a profit.
Low Price Goods
No matter what you choose to add to your website, if you can sell products available on other sites for a much lower price, you are going to do well. This goes for fashion, beauty, exercise, sports, etc. If you can find high quality products that can be sold at much lower prices, you will draw in many more customers than you could have with higher priced goods. For example, if you can find a way to sell organic goods and clothing for much cheaper than healthy food specialty stores, you can help those that want to be healthier, but can't afford the higher prices of other stores.
No matter what you choose, try at first to think of things that you yourself might want to buy online - chances are good that you're not the only one.

Firefox Just Got Better
by: Burk Pendergrass
The safest most secure app for browsing the internet currently available just got better and has more improvements on the way. Are you ready for the latest Mozilla release? Firefox 3 Beta 4 is available for download, but before you go running off like some half cocked Microsoft groupie notice the "beta" tag.
Hello!! The internet is a dangerous place. The Remote Helpdesk 1 Team continues to be amused (we can no longer say amazed) at people who would not dare to venture into certain parts of a city but who seemingly rush into the internet's dark corners and dimly lighted streets ill prepared.
Before you sail into a storm baton down the hatches, and before you cruise into hacker, virus, trojan, and criminally infested areas of the world wide web at least darken the windows and arm yourself. Not to take appropriate precautions will assure your computer a visit to the infectious disease controls center if not the hard drive morgue.
Firefox developers have thus far proven themselves to the best at incorporating necessary safety features into their browser while preserving user options and cruise speeds. Online PC Repair folks feel they owe a lot of their success to getting their loyal users involved in the development and testing process. These folks, like The Tennessee Mountain Man, have helped keep the programs on track and the applications minimal. For instance, if a client wants twenty-five cents - give him a quarter like Mozilla tends to do rather that twenty-five pennies as Microsoft is famous for.
It takes a lot less resources to process one coin than it does to count twenty-five. Mozilla recognizing this has given the new "beta" release a lot of new features and improved compatibility while freeing up resources. The end result being a more nimble and faster overall browsing experience. At the same time they have enhanced Firefox's security.
Released to the public via the Mozilla website Monday, 10 March 2008, Firefox 3 Beta 4 is in the beta stage of any software's life cycle. Firefox 3 Beta 4 loudly proclaims that it is "for testing purposes only" therefore it is not for everyone. It you are a newbie or maybe even an intermediate internet user, the suggestion of the Computer Man would be that you use Firefox 2.0.0.12, the latest most stable full release until Firefox 3 is out of beta.
If you just can't wait for a better browsing experience Mozilla reports "the new release includes more than 900 enhancements from beta 3, including drastic improvements to performance and memory usage, as well as fixes for stability, platform enhancements and user interface".
But that is not the half of it... not by a long shot. "Firefox 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 31 months. Building on the previous release, Gecko 1.9 has more than 12,000 updates including some major re-architecting to provide improved performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot more under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers improvements.", according to Mozilla.
Enhancements like these reported on the Mozilla website:
"More Secure
* One-click site info: Click the site favicon in the location bar to see who owns the site and to check if your connection is protected from eavesdropping. Identity verification is prominently displayed and easier to understand. When a site uses Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificates, the site favicon button will turn green and show the name of the company you're connected to. (Try it here!)
* Malware Protection: malware protection warns users when they arrive at sites which are known to install viruses, spyware, trojans or other malware. (Try it here!)
* New Web Forgery Protection page: the content of pages suspected as web forgeries is no longer shown. (Try it here!)
* New SSL error pages: clearer and stricter error pages are used when Firefox encounters an invalid SSL certificate. (Try it here!)

And, if you still have not tried Mozilla Thunderbird, get ready to kick Outlook Express to the curb!

Free Broadband
Are you tired of paying your telephone bills which cost you a fortune? You only called your family inside your country but the charge is ridiculous. If local call cost you a fortune then what about international call you made to your relatives abroad. Just thinking about it could give you headaches, not to mention if your children use broadband internet. The bills will be doubled. Is there any solution to your problem which is cheap calls and free broadband? Yes, there is.
TalkTalk is the company you should choose as your provider. But all companies are the same, aren't they? No they are not, not this company at least. Other companies started with selling their products without ever really know what customers need. TalkTalk doesn't work that way, they ask what you want first and then try to provide the product that will satisfy the customers. For example, you want high speed broadband to be included in your phone lines without paying double bills. TalkTalk provides that for you. Some of the plans offered by TalkTalk also give you free landline calls to any local and national UK landline number. Check all the plans available before you decide what is best for you.
The free broadband you get is a high speed broadband with 8 Mbps in speed. You could also get unlimited calls to 36 destinations worldwide at anytime. Cheap calls and free broadband connection seems like a good combination. In the future TalkTalk will also try to provide cheap calls from your mobile phone. With all those advantages that you could get, you should consider using TalkTalk as your phone provider. What are you waiting for? Rush to the site and be a customer.

Law on Electronic and Information
As of this 1st of April, Indonesia will apply a new law on Electronic and Information transaction. What is this law? It is a law against pornographic site and hacker. A site which contains pornography will be banned and the owner or administrator could face a ten year time in prison or a maximum of IDR ten billion fine.
This new law has its own pros and cons. How do you categorize a site as pornography or not? If the site contain nudity then it must be banned. What if the site contains only articles but those articles are all for adults only. How can you filter them? The Indonesian government has launched a software to fight against pornographic contents. With the software Indonesian government will also make a list of all sites with pornography. Again, I honestly think that you can not list all sites on the internet. Moreover filtering is only applicable if you already know the url of the site. What about the newly created site? The list should always be updated then.
This law could also affects articles on the internet with health or articles related to doctor. Suppose you are a obstetrician or gynecologist, the articles you will look for will contain some words which can be categorized as pornography. If the software filtered those articles then how do you suppose find answers on the internet? This could lead really halt the development of information technology especially for doctors. I think the application of the law is a good intention from the government to fight pornography on the internet. But the government also should think about the wide range of affects that will be caused by the application of the law. Continuous studies have to be done to make this law complete.
