Missing the internet

Yesterday we had a power breakdown in our main office. If I were still there, maybe that is a gift because that means that we don't have to work for all day.Can you imagine how happy would that make me? I can go home and play with my two children. Sadly our office had moved to Kuta Square, so yesterday we have electrity for the whole day. But you know what made me really annoyed? A power breakdown in the main office, left us with no internet connection. Try to imagine just sitting in front of your computer and working but no way to surf the internet, all that was left was yahoo messenger. I would rather lose yahoo messenger for surfing the internet in exchange. Sorry yahoo, no offense. Sigh....
In an company that has yearly turnover over sixty million dollars, this case is an irony.
How could an office that rich could not afford a power generator? Does the management, which most of them come from abroad, deny any knowledge of this problem? Well they should have prepared for it because it had happened a lot before. Or are they still hoping that the government will take care of this problem. As you all know, that the electricity for Bali came from Java. This would be a problem in the future, because the ability to generate power is fixed while the demand will increase all the time. The Balinese government had tried to overcome this problem by building their on power plant but was disapproved by the local people. So now, we are still dependant on the supply from Java and thus we have a monthly power cutoff. Everytime this happens, it will be a good day for a lot of people but on the contrary it will be a really boring and annoying day for me.

Lesson learned: never leaves the main office

Manchester Beat Milan 3-2

As I have predicted yesterday (although the score is slightly different), Manchester have beaten Milan 3-2 in a highly contested game. Manchester started the game well, playing the ball with patient and the first real chance came to Rooney in the fourth minute but his volley was blocked by Nesta. Soon after the first goal arrived, this time through a corner. Dida tried to catch the ball but it first hit Ronaldo and the ball looped everybody's head. Dida then punched the ball, but it ended in the back of the net. In 10th minute Ronaldo had a header saved by Dida. Milan was pressured by the home team, but they scored a goal through Kaka in the 22nd minute. Clarence Seedorf was free on the left and he sent a low cross to Kaka. Kaka then ran off the chalenge of Heinze and sent the ball low to the far post. Manchester was again on the attack when a lob through the defence left Kaka one on one against Heinze. Kaka cleverly chipped the ball passed Heinze's head who then collided with Patrice Evra. Kaka then made a simple finis. This is his ninth goal in the competition, making him ever so close to the Golden Boot Awards. So it was 1-2 for AC Milan at the half time break.
Second half began with Ancelotti making a change, Bonera was on for Maldini. Maldini was out due to his recurring injury in his knee. Manchester took control of the second half, a chance for Fletcher but his shot was wide of the post. Milan was forced to make a second substitution, this time it was Gattuso who had to leave the pitch. On the 59th minute Manchester levelled the match. Rooney was left alone in the box after a clever chip from Scholes. 63rd minute again a god save by Dida to deny Fletcher. In the last 10 minutes of the game, the pace went down. But in injury time, Rooney made a miraculous shot to put the game beyond Milan's hand.

Manchester United vs AC Milan, Semifinal 1st Leg

Tonight's class between Manchester United and AC Milan would be their second meeting in the last three champions league season. In the previous encounter between them, Milan won 1-0 both home and away. "Last time we were between twice, but now my team is different. We have a lot more experience now.", said Sir Alex Ferguson. He said that the key to beat Milan is to contain their playmaker and Brazilian star, Kaka. "Don't give him room to exploit. If we can manage to do this, we are convince we can beat Milan". Sir Alex will not give the name of the player who will mark Kaka, probably Paul Scholes or Michael Carrick. Manchester will probably miss the dynamic duo, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, who are still out injured. So Sir Alex will have to play Heinze, O'Shea, Wes Brown and Gary Neville. Midfield will be Scholes, Carrick, Giggs and Ronaldo. Up front is Rooney and Saha. Three names on the Red Devils squad will miss the second leg tie if they get another yellow card: Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes and Gabriel Heinze.
Coach Ancelotti said that his team will have to stay focus and try to play their own game. Cristiano Ronaldo is the player that his team should watch, but he will not assign someone to mark him all the time. Milan came to Old Trafford with their spirit in sky high after winning their last Serie A match against Cagliari 3-1 and almot securing their place in next year's champions league competition. Nesta and Maldini will be the duo centre back with Massimo Oddo on the right and Marek Jankulovski as left back. Three men in midfield will be Seedorf, Gattuso and Pirlo with Kaka just playing behind the front two. Gilardino should play but as for Inzaghi will probably sit on the bench, which will make Massimo Ambrosini the fifth men on midfield.
It is going to be a cracking match. I predict that whoever win this semifinal will go on and lift the cup in Athens in May.

Prediction: 1-0 to Manchester United, or a draw

Label Cloud

Want to have a different look for your labels? When I was surfing the internet, I saw a lot of blogs who have a different look for their labels. The labels were randomly made bigger or smaller. So I started wandering if there is a code for this. After sometime I found the answer here. I have tried the code written there, and it worked fine. Hence, I have added a special thanks for Phydeaux3 who made this code at the bottom page of my blog. This is a really nice hacks!

Unlike any other superheroes movie such as Superman or Spiderman, these superheroes have the ability which is more human. Their abilities came from evolution of DNA. According to Mohinder Suresh this evolution leap forward from time to time, thus caused their superpower abilities. The caracters also have to fight within themselves to deny that they are different from others because they are afraid of what people might think. They try to pretend that there is nothing wrong with them until they can't escaped their destiny. The main cast (not all of whom have been shown to have powers) consist of:

MU drew, Milan won

Prior to their second meeting in the last three champions league season, Manchester United and Milan have a different story in their quest in the league. Milan won 3-1 against lower table Cagliari, thanks two goals from "Il Phenomenon" Ronaldo. Since joining Milan from Real Madrid, Ronaldo has scored 7 goals in 12 appearances. It's like he has found his killing touch which make him so famous. His first goal came in the first half, following a good cross from his fellow countryman Marcos Cafu. He scored the second goal in the 69th minute, using his chest following a scramble in front of the Cagliari's goal. Another goal from Andrea Pirlo from a free kick practically ended Cagliari's hope to get an equaliser after David Suazo scored from the penalty spot. The penalty were given after Capone was fouled inside the area by Kakha Kaladze. Kaladze were sent off four minutes from time after pulling Capone's shirt. Although playing with ten men, Milan went on and got three points which they much needed in securing 4th place in the table which means Champions league qualification for next year.
Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford by their visitor Middlesbrough. This draw means they are now four points ahead of Chelsea who is facing Newcastle tonight. A win for Chelsea and the advantage will be cut to only one point and throw the championship wide open. With the superclash match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge still to come, it seems now the treble for Manchester United is a very tough task to fulfill. Manchester started the game well, and were infront after just three minutes, thanks to Kieran Richardson's goal. Viduka scored for Boro just minutes before the half time break. This goal was pretty much helped by the injury to Rio Ferdinand, who is now in doubt for Tuesday Champions league semifinal against Milan.

Revival of my blogs

After a long and lengthy absent, I finally able to post again. Sorry for the past two years a lot of things have happened. First of all I got married in 2005 and by the 17th of January my first son was born. We named him Ngurah Nareswara Putra Sanjaya Erawan. Well, if you want to know the meaning of the name is "a little king which the son of Sanjaya". If you know a little bit of history, you will notice that the name Sanjaya was used in the very well-known book, "MAHABRATA". Sanjaya was the son of King Destrarata, he described the war to the king, because the king was blind. Anyway, that is not the main reason why we named our son Putra Sanjaya. It's because Sanjaya is my name so Putra Sanjaya means the son of Sanjaya. Quite simple huh? To cut the story short, on 13th of December the same year my first daughter was born (surprised?). We named our daughter Aurelia Pradnyaswari Sanjaya Erawan. The name described it all, we want our "lovely" daughter to be an "intelligent" person. So now we have a son (who is starting to walk) and a daughter (who is starting to crawl). I also finishing my thesis to get my postgraduate degree. Hopefully I can finish it on time.
