Manchester Beat Milan 3-2

As I have predicted yesterday (although the score is slightly different), Manchester have beaten Milan 3-2 in a highly contested game. Manchester started the game well, playing the ball with patient and the first real chance came to Rooney in the fourth minute but his volley was blocked by Nesta. Soon after the first goal arrived, this time through a corner. Dida tried to catch the ball but it first hit Ronaldo and the ball looped everybody's head. Dida then punched the ball, but it ended in the back of the net. In 10th minute Ronaldo had a header saved by Dida. Milan was pressured by the home team, but they scored a goal through Kaka in the 22nd minute. Clarence Seedorf was free on the left and he sent a low cross to Kaka. Kaka then ran off the chalenge of Heinze and sent the ball low to the far post. Manchester was again on the attack when a lob through the defence left Kaka one on one against Heinze. Kaka cleverly chipped the ball passed Heinze's head who then collided with Patrice Evra. Kaka then made a simple finis. This is his ninth goal in the competition, making him ever so close to the Golden Boot Awards. So it was 1-2 for AC Milan at the half time break.
Second half began with Ancelotti making a change, Bonera was on for Maldini. Maldini was out due to his recurring injury in his knee. Manchester took control of the second half, a chance for Fletcher but his shot was wide of the post. Milan was forced to make a second substitution, this time it was Gattuso who had to leave the pitch. On the 59th minute Manchester levelled the match. Rooney was left alone in the box after a clever chip from Scholes. 63rd minute again a god save by Dida to deny Fletcher. In the last 10 minutes of the game, the pace went down. But in injury time, Rooney made a miraculous shot to put the game beyond Milan's hand.
